Replaced shocks and springs on my '91 Z, just because I had the new Tokicos and EIbachs sitting around, and twenty years seemed long enough. At about 125K, the old shocks seemed fine, except for deteriorated boots. Had similar experiences with two early 1990s Maximas; at 110K, the shocks were still in very good shape. Not at all like cars from the 1960s, when your new car shocks would be shot in 20k miles.
